DEEP ROCK GALACTIC: ROGUE CORE is a 1-4 player co-op FPS action roguelite featuring sci-fi dwarves, alien horrors and procedurally-generated caves. Join the elite dwarven Reclaimers and fight through perilous mining facilities infested with deadly Corespawn. For Rock and Stone! The main difference is the roguelite game structure. In short, this means that you start each mission with only the most basic equipment, and you collect random upgrades, gear and abilities as you go. - 1–4 Player Co-op Roguelite FPS
Team up with up to three other players in a cooperative first-person shooter that combines the teamwork of Deep Rock Galactic with roguelite progression systems. Every run offers different upgrades, weapons, and build opportunities.
- Procedurally Generated Caves
Each mission takes place in randomly generated underground environments, ensuring that layouts, encounters, and exploration paths differ from run to run.
- Fully Destructible Environments
Like the original game, the caves are highly destructible, allowing players to carve paths, create defensive positions, and reshape the battlefield.
- Roguelite Progression System
Players begin missions with basic gear and gradually acquire random upgrades, weapons, abilities, and powerful synergies during the run. This creates a different build every time you play.
- Multi-Stage Missions
Rather than a single cave expedition, missions involve progressing through multiple increasingly dangerous stages, gathering resources and upgrades as you descend deeper underground.
- Permanent Meta-Progression
Between runs, players unlock new weapons, suits, modifications, and equipment, providing long-term progression while maintaining roguelite replayability.
- Darker Sci-Fi Atmosphere
The game features a darker tone than its predecessor, with abandoned mining facilities, mysterious “Greyout” events, eerie lighting, and a stronger horror-inspired atmosphere.
